Drawing seems to be a natural partner to the other apps within Google Docs, but it just hasn't gained all that much traction, it seems. In some ways, it parallels Microsoft Office which has a drawing toolbar, but not much ado is made of it, though folks use it when needed.

Experiment a bit with the Drawing feature. You can be among the pioneers in finding new ways to use it.

To be fair, the Drawings portion of Google Docs still is fairly new (barely a year old).
